The Molly Foundation was founded in 1989 by Nicholas Minicucci after his daughter, Molly Minicucci-Phillips was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes at the young age of nine years old. She was promised a cure within ten years of her diagnosis, but over forty years later, there is still no cure. From taking at least two injections of insulin a day for the first 20 years after her diagnosis, to transitioning to an insulin pump, Molly and so many like her, has faced the rigors of diabetes, a life-long cross to bear. The Molly Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on raising funds for research into finding a cure for diabetes. With your help, we will find a cure to end diabetes!

We have raised and committed over one million dollars to the Diabetes Research Institute and Hackensack Meridian Health for the furtherance of the search for a cure. We are proud to be partnered with Hackensack Meridian Health, who houses the MOLLY Diabetes Center to provide an unprecedented approach to treating and managing diabetes for people of all ages. Their exceptional program earned a fourth-consecutive certification in Advanced Diabetes Management from the Joint Commission for excellence in inpatient diabetes care¹.
